UAV Pilot Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and control drone operation team to complete UAV mission according to its objective and comply with company’s code of conduct, procedure and related regulations

• Liaise with customers, potential prospects and related stakeholders to gain their requirements from the beginning and act as technical point of contact until the completion of projects

• Determine suitable drone operations methodology and solutions for each UAV mission in accordance with customer requirements

• Monitor and control UAV pilot team workload and utilization of UAV

• Establish and manage Skyller pilot certification program including domain industry certification program

• Support data processing team for post-mission processing including AI-driven analysis improvement

• Support company’s international standard certification process in related technical and operations field, maintain and ensure all operations comply with the standard

• Maintain all UAV equipment in good condition and ready for flight operation including UAV maintenance, license and insurance

• Perform UAV flight operation occasionally

Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in any field
• 5+ years of experience in unmanned aircraft system (UAS) with at least 1-2 years of experience in managing a team
• Proficient in controlling both multi-rotor and fixed-wing UAV with manual mode
• Familiar with several UAV brand including but not limited to DJI Matrice series, DJI Inspire series, DJI Mavic series, Flyability, EBee
• Good understanding of air law, flight safety, operating requirement, aircraft performance and flight operations
• Experience in survey & mapping using UAV together with other GIS system equipment and be able to perform post-processing 
• Experience in using UAV for industrial work such as inspection in oil & gas, powerline or power plant is essential
• Completion of unmanned aircraft system training course certified by CAAT, or other aviation authority will be advantage 
• Be able to work over hours (if required)
• Be able to travel upcountry and internationally for field operations 
• Excellent command of English in writing and speaking
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
