Skyller Solutions Co., Ltd. (SKYLLER), a leader in industrial asset inspection solutions powered by Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) and advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited (GC), an integrated global chemical business leader, on July 15, 2025. This collaboration aims to co-develop drone and Machine Learning (ML)-based solutions specifically designed for asset inspection in the petrochemical industry. Image

Mr. Prayont Sonachai, Business Solutions Team Lead at Skyller Solutions, stated: “Asset inspection is one of the most critical and challenging missions in the oil and petrochemical industry. Plants often operate under extreme conditions of pressure, temperature, and exposure to hazardous chemicals, which pose significant risks of accidents such as fires, explosions, or leaks. These threats can have severe consequences on lives and assets.” The essence of this partnership is to elevate asset inspection standards in the petrochemical industry to new levels of efficiency, accuracy, and safety. Together, both organizations will co-develop drone and ML technologies to tackle industry-specific challenges, using real-world operational data as the foundation for innovation. Image

Mr. Pisith Fusiripong, Executive Vice President of Technology Excellence at GC, emphasized the importance of this collaboration: “The solutions we co-develop will not only improve inspection accuracy and reduce risks in hazardous areas, but also serve as a vital model for preventive maintenance driven by real-time data. At GC, we are committed to leveraging innovation and digital technologies to enhance operational efficiency. Partnering with Skyller, an expert in drone and AI technologies, marks a significant step in developing AI systems capable of detecting and analyzing data from drones and sensors. These solutions will elevate safety standards and can be further scaled for commercial applications, as well as adoption across our organizations and affiliates. We believe this partnership reflects our vision of sustainable growth—delivering tangible and lasting impact for both industry and society.” This collaboration integrates Skyller’s expertise in comprehensive UAV-based inspection services and advanced AI/ML platforms with GC’s deep industry knowledge and leadership in petrochemicals, emphasizing innovation and sustainability. GC will play a pivotal role in co-developing and piloting these solutions in real-world industrial environments, such as refinery equipment inspections. The partnership represents more than just the adoption of technology, it is a fusion of knowledge and real-world challenges from GC, serving as prototypes for solutions that address critical industry pain points. Mr. Prayont concluded: “Our mission is to transform high-risk environments into the safest places to work. This MOU marks an important milestone in elevating Thailand’s industrial standards. It’s not only about applying technology but also about co-creating solutions that directly address industry challenges, enhancing both efficiency and safety for the people who are at the heart of our operations.” Image
